Scope of this policy

This policy governs personal information collected directly through the IDEAS IN MOTION GROUP LIMITED website at ideasinmotiongroup.com. It does not cover our mobile applications.

Each of our apps has its own privacy policy, because each collects different information for different purposes:

• Ntanimo privacy policy
• Instaride privacy policy

The law that applies

IDEAS IN MOTION GROUP LIMITED is a Nigerian company and processes personal data in accordance with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 (NDPA) and the General Application and Implementation Directive 2025 (GAID) issued under it by the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC). Where you are located in the European Union or the United Kingdom, we also give effect to the rights available to you under the General Data Protection Regulation.

Our privacy commitment

Privacy is not merely a regulatory requirement; it is a component of responsible corporate governance. We collect only information that is reasonably necessary, and we maintain safeguards against unauthorised access, misuse, disclosure, alteration or destruction.

Information we collect

Information you give us

We collect this only when you choose to send it to us through a form or by email:

• Your name
• Your email address
• Your telephone number, if you provide one
• Your company or organisation, and job title, where relevant to your enquiry
• The contents of your message

Information collected automatically

Our hosting provider records standard server logs for security and reliability purposes. These contain your IP address, the pages requested, the time of the request, and your browser and device type.

This website does not use analytics, advertising or tracking technologies of any kind, and sets no cookies. See our Cookie Policy.

Why we use it, and our lawful basis

We do not sell, rent or trade personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Who we share it with

We share personal information only where it is necessary, and only with organisations that are bound to protect it:

• Our hosting and email providers, which process messages sent through this website so that they reach us
• Professional advisers, such as lawyers and accountants, where we need advice
• Regulators, courts and government agencies, where we are legally required to disclose
• A prospective purchaser, in the event of a lawful corporate restructuring, merger or acquisition, subject to confidentiality obligations

Where your information is stored

This website is served from a global content delivery network, with data at rest held in Global edge network, with data at rest in the European Union. Our application infrastructure is located in Johannesburg, South Africa.

Some of our service providers process information outside Nigeria. Where that happens, we rely on contractual safeguards with those providers to maintain a level of protection consistent with the NDPA 2023, as required by its provisions on cross-border transfers.

How long we keep it

When information is no longer required, we securely delete, anonymise or destroy it.

Your rights

Under the NDPA 2023 you have the right to:

• ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
• ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete;
• ask us to erase your personal data;
• ask us to restrict how we process it;
• object to processing based on our legitimate interests;
• ask us to provide your data in a portable format;
• withdraw consent at any time, where consent is our basis for processing;
• lodge a complaint with the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.

To exercise any of these, use our data request form or email privacy@ideasinmotiongroup.com. We respond within 30 days. There is no charge.

To delete an account in one of our apps, use the deletion page for that product — for example deleting a Ntanimo account.

Security

We use administrative, organisational, physical and technical safeguards to protect information against unauthorised access, misuse, disclosure, alteration and accidental loss. These include encrypted connections, restricted access on a need-to-know basis, authentication controls, system monitoring and routine updates. Our full posture is described in our Information Security Statement.

No electronic transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. If a breach occurs that is likely to result in a risk to your rights, we will notify you and the NDPC within the timeframes required by law.

Children

This website is intended for business, professional and corporate audiences. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have, we delete it.

This site may link to websites operated by others. They have their own privacy practices and we are not responsible for them. Please review their policies before providing personal information.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our business, technology and legal obligations evolve. Material changes take effect when published on this page, and the effective date above is updated.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your personal data, please contact our Data Protection Officer first so that we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission at any time.
