Accessibility Statement

Our commitment

IDEAS IN MOTION GROUP LIMITED is committed to making this website accessible to everyone, including people with visual, hearing, motor or cognitive disabilities.

We aim to meet Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. This is the standard referenced by EN 301 549, the European accessibility standard that supports the European Accessibility Act.

What we have done

Accessibility was designed into this website from the start, rather than added afterwards. Specifically:

• Every page works without JavaScript. All content is readable and every form can be completed and submitted with scripting disabled.
• Full keyboard operation. Every interactive element can be reached and used with a keyboard alone, and the focus indicator is clearly visible against our dark background.
• A skip link is the first thing a keyboard or screen-reader user reaches on every page, allowing navigation to be bypassed.
• Semantic structure. Correct landmarks, one main heading per page, and headings in a logical order.
• Colour contrast. Body text meets Level AA contrast requirements against our background. Our gold accent colour is used only for headings, rules and marks, never for small body text, because it does not meet the contrast threshold at small sizes.
• Colour is never the only signal. Form errors are announced in text and marked with an icon as well as colour.
• Forms are properly labelled, with errors associated programmatically so screen readers announce them with the field they belong to, and an error summary at the top of the form linking to each problem.
• Reduced motion is respected. If your device is set to reduce motion, animation and smooth scrolling are switched off.
• Images carry text alternatives, and purely decorative graphics are hidden from assistive technology.
• Text can be resized up to 200% without loss of content or function, and the layout adapts to narrow screens without horizontal scrolling.

How we test

Automated accessibility testing runs against every page each time we change the site, and a build that fails does not go live. Automated tools catch only part of the picture, so we also carry out manual keyboard testing and screen-reader testing using VoiceOver.

Known limitations

We would rather tell you what is not yet perfect than claim more than we can support:

• Some legal documents on this site are long. We have kept headings and structure clear so they can be navigated by heading, but they remain dense by nature.
• Our mobile apps are assessed separately from this website. Where an app has accessibility limitations, they are described in that app’s store listing.

We treat accessibility reports as faults, not feature requests, and we prioritise them accordingly.
